The first time I was exposed to Linux is when a customer gave me a copy on a single floppy disk. They used to to connect to their mainframe computers from their offices. From there I was able to download Slackware Linux from our internal servers. I created a floppy set to install on a PC. From there I created a set of X-Windows floppies to have X running too.
I'm a system administrator and an occasional consultant. I've worked for or consulted for both large and small business. Operating system agnostic, I administer Linux, OS X and Windows servers and workstations.
